This course is designed to provide students with a foundational understanding of English grammar as an essential component of language competence. It emphasizes the systematic study of the basic parts of speech—nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and articles—along with their functions in sentence construction. The course further addresses fundamental grammatical concepts such as subject-verb agreement, sentence patterns, and the formation of coherent structures in both spoken and written contexts. By engaging with theoretical explanations and practical applications, students are expected to develop accuracy and fluency in the use of English grammar, thereby strengthening their overall language proficiency.
